National Living Wage To Increase in 2022

The government of the United Kingdom declared that on 1 April 2022, the National Living Wage (NLW) would increase to £9.50. The National Living Wage is the mandatory minimum wage that UK workers above the age of 23 are entitled to be paid.
So, what exactly are the changes?
In April 2022, the government of the UK will raise the NLW by 59 pence or 6.6%. This increment will sustain the wages and living standards of low-paid workers and is a factor in the government’s objective to considerably increase the National Living Wage earnings by 2024.
