UKVCAS service resumes completely
According to the latest updates by Home Office normal UKVCAS service will start again on 21 September 2020. This signifies that all visa applicants will be able to book an appointment at a UKVCAS Service Point immediately when they register with UKVCAS and will not need to wait to get an invitation email from the Home Office.
From 21 September, ALL visa applicants will need to reserve a visa appointment at one of the Service Points. The Identity Verification (IDV) app will only be available to selected Tier 4 students.
Additional Free Appointments
After negotiations with UKVI, Sopra Steria have announced additional free appointments into their booking system. This signifies that there is a broader variety of free and chargeable appointments available.
Free appointments do get reserved instantly. You should book it a few weeks in advance to get a free appointment.
Obtaining the right appointment
To assist the visa applicant find the right appointment, please click on the link below for ALL Service Points near your location. The online booking system mentions Core sites, then Premium Lounge sites and Enhanced Service Points. If the visa applicant does this, the applicant will find a Service Point that is closer further down the list with a wider range of appointments.
