On the other hand, applicants should not attend a UKVCAS appointment if they are intended to be self-isolating (whether because of the contact, symptoms or travel, etc.).
The UKVCAS’ key workers will sit behind perspex screens, wear masks, maintain social distancing and regularly apply hand sanitizer. UKVCAS are also operating superior cleaning practises across all service points. Those attending appointments will be required to wear a face covering and obey instructions given by UKVCAS staff. Only those applicants named on the application must attend the appointment (even though specific exceptions are allowed).
UKVCAS has recommended that applicants at risk must follow any applicable NHS guidance or guidance received from their GP before reserving or attending an appointment at the UKVCAS.
