As you already know when you apply for a visa, settlement (‘indefinite leave to remain’) or citizenship in the United Kingdom, You will be needing to use United Kingdom Visa and Citizenship Application Services (UKVCAS). You will need United Kingdom Visa and Citizenship Application Services (UKVCAS) to provide the following: 1. Your biometric information (fingerprints and photo) 2. Supporting documents for your application Please keep in mind that you will be told if you are required to use United Kingdom Visa and Citizenship Application Services (UKVCAS) when you apply for the visa. The good news is that your immigration status will not be affected if you are unable or do not desire to attend an appointment due to COVID-19 pandemic. What happens if you have not made an appointment with the United Kingdom Visa and Citizenship Application Services (UKVCAS)? Sadly, you cannot currently book an appointment at a United Kingdom Visa and Citizenship Application Services (UKVCAS) service point because of Covid-19. But, you should still create a United Kingdom Visa and Citizenship Application Services (UKVCAS) account when you apply for a visa. This is so you can be communicated when new appointments become available. There are chances that you may be suggested an appointment at another United Kingdom Visa and Citizenship Application Services (UKVCAS) point if the one nearest to you is closed because of COVID-19. Rest assured that if you cannot or do not desire to attend this United Kingdom Visa and Citizenship Application Services (UKVCAS) appointment, you can request to wait for an appointment at a closer service point. This will not affect your immigration status. When will I be getting a decision for my visa application?
