The government of Canada is dedicated to attain a target of 4.4% French-speaking immigrants outside of Quebec by the year 2023.

You can now get up to 50 extra points for strong French language skills (even if French is your second language).

Furthermore, you can get 25 extra points if you ‘Scored NCLC 7 or higher on all four French language skills and scored CLB 4 or lesser in English (or did not take an English test)

You can also get 50 additional points if you ‘Scored NCLC 7 or greater on all four French language skills and attained CLB 5 or higher on all four English skills




Can I take the French Language test to improve my CRS Score?

You can take either TEF Canada or TCF Canada despite the fact that your Express Entry application is active. For that reason, you can update your profile when you receive the test results.
