COVID-19: Australian Update

During the present COVID-19 climate, many countries worldwide have implemented travel restrictions on their borders, to reduce the rate of imported infection. With the wavering number of coronavirus cases between various countries, international governments have opted for various decisions, including whether to relax or further tighten the entry restrictions on their borders.

Overseas workers who are travelling to Australia, are required to be granted a travel entry exemption, from the Australian Border Force. Although there are several ways of acquiring one, the creation of the ‘Priority Migration Skilled Occupation List’ reveals, the Australian government’s decision to somewhat relieve its travel restrictions, and expand the routes to go Down Under.
